Early Intervention That Feels Clear and Doable for Families

Supporting young children through Naturalistic Developmental Behavioural Interventions (NDBI)

Play-based, evidence-informed approach that builds communication, regulation, and learning in everyday interactions.

Evidence-Based

Relationship-Focused

Naturalistic Developmental Behavioural Interventions (NDBI) is a group of evidence-based approaches that combine developmental and behavioural strategies within play and everyday routines.

This means we:

  • Follow the child’s interests to build engagement

  • Teach skills within natural interactions

  • Support communication and social connection

  • Build regulation through co-regulation and structure

  • Embed learning into daily activities

We draw on evidence-based models such as the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM), which integrates developmental and behavioural principles in a way that feels natural, engaging, and meaningful for the child.

Kindergarten and School Transition

Starting kindergarten or school can be a big step for many children.

Some children may find it challenging to:

  • separate from parents

  • follow routines and transitions

  • participate in group activities

  • communicate their needs

  • manage new environments and expectations

With the right support, these transitions can become smoother and more positive.

We provide individualised support to help children feel more confident and capable in their learning environments.

This may include:

  • preparing for upcoming transitions

  • building independence and daily routines

  • supporting emotional regulation

  • developing communication and social skills

  • working alongside educators to ensure consistency
